Thought of the Day: What Can You Do with What Is?

I used to think all the time that if I only had this, then I could make that happen. It was always something I didn’t have. I would spin out of control because I’d convince myself that this one thing was the ONLY difference between me and my goals. Well here’s the thing, I realized, thank goodness, that I was crazy. My thinking, which was based solely in stressing out over what I didn’t have, would never get me to what I want. My focus now and I encourage you to do the same, is to focus on what I do have and to figure out what I can do with that. I can’t allow myself to drown hoping for a boat to come along and save me when I already have the materials to build a raft.
