Last night, I was flipping through the latest issue of Traditional Home magazine (Sept 2012) and came across a set of boxes that knocked my socks off. Truth be told, I wasn’t wearing socks, but that’s so beyond the point. Anyway, I saw these boxes by the awesome design duo Mitchell Gold and I instantly coveted them. There were (and still are) several reasons why I covet them so: 1) they’re stunningly beautiful; 2) they’re totally my style; and 3) they look exactly like my Alexa cards! You be the judge.

Because I use hand marbled papers, some of them had intense deep color like the lacquered boxes and some had more muted tones like you see highlighted on Alexa.
Remember a few months back when I was so excited about the similarities between my work and Kelly Wearstler’s pillows? I’m even more excited now. How amazing would these boxes look on a beautiful writing desk filled with my stationery? Now I know exactly what I want for Christmas!
